Three years.

I wish I could say I was one of those girls who never thought about their wedding day until she started planning.  But that wasn’t really me.  I took notes and formulated ideas about what I would want.  And on October 4, 2008, all those notes and ideas were used for my own day.  But more importantly, I gained a life-long best friend that day.  And I will never be the same.

Scott might be quirky, but he is the charming kind of quirky.  And he is so strinkin sweet to me.  These last few years have been a learning process.  Neither of us knew how to be married.  I feel like we are finally getting good at it.

October 4, 2008 was a good day.  And the days keep getting better.  I am glad you are mine, Scott Buchholtz.  Remember, you promised me at least 50 more.

And I really didn’t realize that the singers in our wedding band actually changed clothes during the wedding.  Check this out.

How did I not notice this before?
